An imposing 34 centimetre diameter Meiji-era Japanese bronze jardinieres bearing the stamp of the prestigious Genryusai Seiya foundry. The item is in great condition, with expected wear on the inside from its original use as a brazier. Purchased in Northern Ireland 2026 from the private collection of a professor who had lived in Japan for several decades in the mid-century, and who died recently at 103 years old. A genuine, fresh to market Meiji gem.
