Description from the seller
In this presentation we introduce an exemplar that perfectly embodies the most modern, technological, and bold spirit of the Hamburg house: the Montblanc StarWalker Carbon Rollerball / Fineliner pen (in its magnificent Doué incarnation). This line was conceived for a new generation of professionals, combining advanced materials engineering with the unmistakable aesthetics of contemporary luxury.
The design plays on a formidable contrast of textures and hi-tech materials. The barrel is deftly crafted in genuine anthracite carbon fiber, decorated with a slender and fascinating intertwined geometric pattern that catches the light, while ensuring incredible lightness and structural strength. To counterpoint this sport-inspired material, there is a massive and luminous palladium-plated cap, embellished with an elegant guilloché pattern with horizontal lines. On the ring at the base of the cap is inscribed the word "MONTBLANC", while the aerodynamically profiled clip bears the individual serial number. The real stroke of genius of the StarWalker collection dominates the summit as always: the famous six-point white star that floats magically suspended inside the transparent resin dome.
Functionally, it is an elegant rollerball. Unlike the ballpoint version, this model features the classic screw-cap, intelligently designed to be screwed on securely even to the rear end during writing, guaranteeing perfect balance in the hand. Your excellent and detailed photographs of the disassembled instrument confirm the absolute integrity of the internal metal mechanics and show the original refill currently mounted.
The condition is excellent. The delicate texture of the carbon fiber on the barrel is pristine and shows no scratches or chips. The bright palladium cap and the remaining metal finishes retain an excellent luster, revealing only the physiological and entirely negligible micro-scratches (hairlines) due to normal and respectful desk handling when viewed against the light. The pen is structurally perfect, glossy, and ready to glide across the page.
