CARLA SUTERA SARDO (Agrigento, 1983) became drawn to photography out of passion during her university years spent between Palermo and Rome. After her initial approach to landscape photography, she pursues greater experimentation linked to the most unusual and pristine aspects of Sicilian nature and develops a personal language that allows her to express her own vision of things through the camera. Having earned a degree in Law, she moves to Madrid to specialize in photography and becomes interested in the intersections with fashion.

Her photographs have been published in magazines such as L'oeil de la Photographie and Vogue Italia and have received recognitions including the Sony World Photography Awards, the Siena Photography Awards, and the Prix de la Photographie. Carla Sutera Sardo has exhibited in London, Turin, Florence, Palermo, Zhengzhou, and Paris.
