Digital Equipment Corporation VT330-A3 (1990) monochrome graphic terminal, used and not tested, to be repaired; includes the original LK201 keyboard and an NCR external hard drive.
Description from the seller
The Digital VT330 ( USA ) often referred to as VT330-A3 or VT330-AA) is not a standalone computer, but a well-known monochrome graphical computer terminal that was introduced in April 1987 by Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC). The designation "A3" or "A2" refers specifically to the regional hardware variant (such as the type of built-in power supply or the keyboard layout for specific countries).
In contrast to the purely text-based VT320, the VT330 had an integrated graphical coprocessor. This allowed the terminal to display vector and bitmap images.
support: The system used the Remote Graphics Instruction Set (ReGIS). This enabled a central mainframe or minicomputer (such as a DEC VAX) to efficiently draw geometric shapes and diagrams on the screen. Dual-Session functionality: Users could connect to two different computer systems at the same time via one physical terminal (or two sessions on the same machine) and switch between them or split the screen.
this unit I have powered on briefly and you can see in the photos how the screen lights up, further the device has not been tested and is therefore being sold as "to be repaired!"
the keyboard is the original Digital LK201 unit and in itself rarer than the computer!
comes with an external hard drive from the NCR brand
object location Belgium
carefully packaged and insured shipping.
