Chulalongkorn: Rama V (1868-1910)

Very old Japanese watercolor signed and attributed to Hayashi Shihei, showing a landscape, very well framed, with in the background a canvas featuring bird motifs and others, but it is very subtle. The gilded wooden frame is in impeccable condition. The framing has been restored in Cassis, see photos
Dimensions of the frame: 37.5 cm high and 43 cm high; the watercolor measures 31 cm in width and 26 cm in height.
Its weight is 1 kg.
