The original oil painting (80 x 100 cm on canvas, signature lower right in oil) was part of an exhibition and was honored in the Dithmarscher Landeszeitung with an article.
The painting oozes vitality and power through the depicted muscular male torso; the blue, softly veiled sky is calm and unexcited, the gaze into the distance inevitably also reverberates in the space where the painting hangs on the wall.
