The Metropolitan is inspired by the iconic Visconti Divine Proportion collection, drawing from Renaissance art and science. The Metropolitan features the same form and classic characteristics as the Divina: the ratio between the pen body and the cap is measured in accordance with the golden mean, 1.618, and the pen incorporates the Nautilus or Golden spiral through the pen with silver spiral rods. But this time Visconti has enriched the pen with their timeless Wall Street celluloid. The reflective nature of the celluloids recalls the dazzling Manhattan skyline in New York.
