Description from the seller
Beautiful lot consisting of two iconic vintage Dunhill Rollagas pocket lighters, historic masterpieces of mechanical engineering and Swiss-made precision.
The lot includes two variants with highly sought-after gold-plated finishes among collectors:
1. Dunhill Rollagas with the classic "Barley" finish (pattern of small squares/ barley grain).
2. Dunhill Rollagas with the "Lines / Diamond Cut" finish (pattern of very fine diagonal lines). This model features on the internal carriage the engraving of the U.S. patent (U.S.A. PAT.).
AESTHETIC CONDITION:
Both lighters are presented in good vintage-conservative condition, with normal light micro-scratches and slight wear on the gold plating due to age, which attest to their authenticity without compromising their charm. Structurally complete; the rollers and lid-opening mechanisms are smooth and stable.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The lighters are sold as "TO BE REVISED / UNTESTED". They have been kept in a drawer for a long time and currently do not produce a spark, most likely due to the internal flint stone being absent or worn by time. Excellent lot for collectors, brand enthusiasts, or restoration professionals.
Tracked shipping and rigid, maximum-security packaging.
