B. Morah’s Bosque Ingrávido 117 XXL is an original acrylic painting on cotton canvas, 100 x 120 cm, signed by hand, created in 2026 as part of a post‑2020 series inspired by Magritte, depicting a surreal landscape with floating tree trunks and a multicolour palette.
Description from the seller
BOSQUE INGRÁVIDO 117 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism.
This work is part of a series that sublimates the natural and the impossible in a single vision. In “Ingravidade Forest,” trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that anchors them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the unlikely: a forest that is not sustained by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination.
The reference to Magritte is not accidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the everyday becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of what is organic and stable, while the chromatic play — with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows — intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere.
This series poses essential questions: What happens when we take the weight off nature? Can gravitationless flight reveal another dimension of the landscape, one more emotional than physical? “Ingravidade Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual liberation act that challenges logic to reveal a new poetic space.
“Ingravidade Forest” in itself already evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics but also our perception of what a forest should be.
