Artist PSiKO (1987), title Daisy Self Love, a 20 × 20 cm heart-shaped mixed media on canvas artwork, original edition from 2025, signed, in pop art style with a multicolor palette including black, pink, white, yellow, red and gold, depicting Daisy Duck in a luxury‑parody pop art scene.
Description from the seller
A bold and irreverent pop art piece that speaks the language of subverting luxury. This heart-shaped canvas titled "Daisy Self Love" features Daisy Duck, the iconic Disney female character, in a vanity pose, holding a mirror and a hairbrush, on a black background with the word "CHANEL" in white overlaying. The composition is a playful collision between high fashion and popular culture—the kind of irreverent commentary on consumerism and self-image that defines the best of contemporary street art.
The work is produced on a stretched canvas mounted on a heart-shaped cut frame, with hand-finished edges wrapped in white gauze tape, and suspended by a rustic jute cord. The front surface presents a high-contrast pop art print, with bold red outlines and a vibrant pink/magenta palette.
On the back, the piece is hand-signed by the artist in red marker, accompanied by a numbered label: "Daisy Self Love."
This piece sits in the lineage of artists like Mr. Brainwash and the tradition of deconstructing luxury brands in street art, using pop iconography to question vanity, the cult of brands, and the obsession with self-image, all with a wink.
Condition: Very good. Minimal superficial wear consistent with a handcrafted object. No tears or fading.
Dimensions: approx. 20×20 cm (heart format)
Technique: Mixed-media print on molded canvas, handcrafted finish, hand-signed
