ABOUT THE ARTIST

Architect and artist. From 1986 to 1989, he taught Design and Drawing at the School of Architecture at the University of Navarra. He has exhibited his work in many cities throughout Spain and in various countries around the world.

He works on surfaces of damp newspaper mounted on wooden frames, similar to fresco painting. He presents his works as long architectural friezes, and the message is not narrative but rather the painting’s self-reference, using an ephemeral medium. He exhibits at the Lekune Gallery in Pamplona and the Salvador Díaz Gallery in Madrid.

His paintings incorporate elements of Impressionist figuration and abstraction. In addition, he serves as a consultant to various institutions on artistic and strategic matters.
