Montblanc - Meisterstück Classique Platinum Line - Pen

Here we present at auction an iconic and always sought-after piece, the perfect writing instrument for everyday professional use: the Montblanc Meisterstück Classique Platinum Line Ballpoint Pen (Model P164).

The Classique model (164) is undoubtedly the brand's most famous and widely used pen. This fascinating Platinum Line variant abandons the classic yellow gold in favor of more modern, sober, and 'glacial' platinum-plated finishes, which create a wonderful contrast with the cigar-shaped body made in deep black precious resin. On the cap dome is, of course, the iconic white star emblem.

The specimen is configured as Ballpoint Pen, with the traditional and reliable continuous twist mechanism. The excellent photographs of the disassembled instrument confirm the presence of the robust metal inner threading, a sign of quality and absolute originality of the product.

Now let's move to the condition report, where your usual transparency is essential. Mechanically the pen is perfect. In terms of aesthetics, the resin and plating are in excellent condition, shiny and with only physiological micro-scratches (hairlines) from use. On the clip there is a personalized engraving with the initials "J. P. W.". The engraving was done in elegant cursive.
