Young artist showcased at the Centre Pompidou in September 2025 on the occasion of the Day of French Young Creation, Laurent Anastay-Ponsolle is a French expressionist artist born in 1982. Drawing, painting, collage, performance are the languages he explores with force and spontaneity.
This work is the fruit of a performance with contemporary dancer Mathilde Plateau. It is a painting executed in acrylic and charcoal. Between automatic writing and choreographed gesture, the artist paints and draws in motion, letting himself be carried by the dancer's movements.
