Description from the seller
The painting Lagune cristalline captures a serene scene where the calm, gentle waters of the clear turquoise sea kiss the shore of pink sand. Pastel umbrellas dot the beach, casting soft shadows for families and friends lounging there. The unique beauty of this beach, with its delicate pink sand, raises questions about the preservation of these rare landscapes. The simplicity of the scene, despite the presence of umbrellas and bathers, highlights the vulnerability of this ecosystem. This juxtaposition of family tenderness and natural tranquility invites us to reflect on our responsibility toward the environment. The painting invites us to contemplate the future of these havens of peace in the face of ecological challenges and to consider the actions needed to protect the splendor of beaches for future generations.

Biography:
Aurélie Lafourcade lives and works in the South of France.
With a degree in visual arts and many years as a graphic designer in a advertising agency, Aurélie decided to take the time to realize her dream of representing the beauty of the oceans.
Originally from French Guiana and with the ocean as an inexhaustible source of inspiration, she uses photos taken from her drone as a source of inspiration and as a call to awareness. The urgency to put human complexity to work for nature’s protection. She then uses digital tools to give birth to these imaginary beaches. To complete her ecological approach, part of her income is donated to organizations that are committed to protecting the ocean.
