Title: Identity Prosthesis
Dimensions: 60x45 cm
Year: 2025
Skedro is a contemporary artist whose research focuses on representing identity as a process in continuous transformation. Through fragmented faces, stratified chromatic structures, and gestural, matter-based painting, his works evoke totemic figures suspended between abstraction and presence. The human face becomes a territory to be rebuilt, where sign, color, and material intertwine to reveal the tension between interiority and appearance. His work reflects on the unstable nature of the self, suggesting that identity is never definitive, but always in flux.

In person, artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
