Description from the seller
Arc Rhythm
MiLo (1976), Netherlands
This contemporary abstract composition explores movement, balance and negative space. Built from sweeping arcs, bold circular forms and a richly brushed surface, the work creates a quiet architectural rhythm that shifts as it is viewed from different orientations.
The textured off-white background contrasts with deep black forms, allowing the composition to breathe through simplicity and proportion. Rather than depicting an object or landscape, the painting invites contemplation through gesture, balance and spatial tension.
Executed with multiple layers of professional acrylic paint, the surface reveals subtle brushwork and tactile variations that add depth while maintaining a minimalist character.
Acrylic on canvas.
The painting can be displayed both horizontally and vertically, offering two distinct visual experiences.
The painting will be carefully packaged and shipped rolled in a sturdy tube or box.
