honours one of the greatest men of all time
michelangelo di lodovico buonarroti simoni (6 march 1475 – 18 february 1564)
commonly known as michelangelo

he was an italian sculptor, painter, architect, poet, and engineer.

this limited edition pen has a cap
handcrafted from carrara marble used by michelangelo for his extraordinary sculptures

the cap is extra long and once opened it reveils the art underneath
of the three rings, a symbol of the accademia del disegno in florence
and a detail famous sculpture of moses

this "uomo universale in italian"
describe great thinkers of the renaissance
and the enlightenment who excelled at several fields in science
and the arts, which can also be found on the top of the pen
completely hand decorated in silver
and michelangelo's portrait can be found on top of the cap

the 18 karat gold nib
of the piston filled fountain pen
has an image of the floor
of campidoglio square in rome

eine hommage an die kunst und italienisches genie des michelangelo.
das projekt zu michelangelo’s jahrestag überzeugte sofort von der notwendigen, etwas besonderes, einzigartiges zu kreieren, etwas, es bei omas nie zuvor gegeben hatte. aus diesem grund wurde eine zusammenarbeit mit dem "opera di santa maria del fiore" in florenz lanciert, um mehr über die geschichte von michelangelo zu erfahren. omas freut sich, "opera" mit einem finanzbeitrag, der von jedem verkauften limited edition-gerät kommt, zu unterstützen.
es war eine schwierigkeit, diese limited edition richtig zu interpretieren, die richtige wahl zu treffen, die hommage an michelangelo zu richten wie er sich selbst definieren wollte: bildhauer zu sein, davor auch maler, architekt, dichter.
seine poesie auf bildhauerei (im reim 151) wo der künstlers den mann, der die form im inneren des materials verborgen ist enthüllt, führte konzeptionell die entwicklung unserer hommage.
und so präsentiert omas das schreibgerät mit marmor aus carrara rigoros, das die inspiration in sich enthält, wie es auch die skulptur von michelangelo tut.
