Description from the seller
This giclée print on Museum Etching paper, 310 g, 100% cotton. It is hand-signed by the artist and presented unframed.
This piece is part of the series The Apocalypse Files, a collection of works in which John F. Junior explores a dystopian and post-nuclear universe. In these imagined scenarios, the environment conveys an atmosphere of violence, decadence, and uncertainty, while the vestiges of Western civilization appear scattered like remnants of a vanished world. Humanity presents itself as isolated and vulnerable in a transformed reality, where monstrous creatures have invaded the Earth and the old social structures have ceased to exist.
John F. Junior's work is characterized by the creation of visual universes that oscillate between observed reality and fiction. Through drawing, he transforms spaces and situations into open-narrative settings, where detail, humor, and imagination play a fundamental role. His compositions invite slow contemplation, progressively revealing multiple stories and readings within a single image.
