Gan-Erdene Tsend (1979) is a German-Mongolian artist whose painterly work forms a symbiosis of Mongolian homeland and German everyday life.
In 2001 Tsend moved to Germany to study at the Münster Academy of Arts. After two preparatory years, from 2003 to 2010 he attended Hermann-Josef Kuhna's painting class, and in 2007 he became his master student. In 2010 he received the academy diploma “with distinction.” Since then he has lived as a freelance artist in Münster.
