In this auction we present a piece with a strongly technical, bold and avant-garde character, reinterpreting the lines of contemporary writing: the Montblanc StarWalker Extreme Roller Pen. This model represents the most gritty and "industrial" evolution of the maison's famous pocket-size collection.
The design breaks with traditional patterns thanks to extraordinary material research. The body and cap are made of precious black resin, treated superficially with an exclusive structured diamond-cut texture that creates a three-dimensional geometric relief pattern. This particular finish not only provides a modern hi-tech visual impact, but also a unique tactile feel and an extremely stable non-slip grip.
To contrast the dark weave, the imposing finishes in dark ruthenium plating (gunmetal finish) appear, visible on the squared clip and the hefty metal grip. The real distinguishing feature remains the famous transparent dome atop the screw-on cap, inside which floats, suspended in mid-air, the emblem of the white star. Being a Roller model, the pen offers a smooth and continuous stroke; as documented by the photos of the disassembled piece, the mechanism is intact and currently uses an original refill.
