We believe it belongs to the suite of 30 prints on Imperial Japan paper created to illustrate Jean Lorrain's highly sought-after erotic novel, "La maison Philibert," published by Javal et Bourdeaux in 1928 in an edition of 50 copies. This series included different variations of these prints.
It is most likely one of those variations or a printing proof. Very rare.
