Custom order / Collector’s item for the “Fest Committee of Pedreguer 2024” (Comissió de Festes de Pedreguer 2024)
The Francisco Bros model “Especial” guitar was crafted from the finest materials personally selected by Francisco Bros for their drying and quality.
All materials for this guitar were selected from hundreds of sets of first-class special-quality woods. The most elegant design as well as the longest-aged woods of exceptionally high quality were chosen for this very special guitar.
This is a handmade guitar built 100% traditionally according to the old Spanish system from the following materials: Material overview (Carta de Materiales)
Top: Solid German spruce in first-rate special quality, exclusively with 56 years of natural drying (kept by Francisco Bros’ grandfather).
Sides: Solid ebony in first-rate special quality (Exclusive wood sets).
Back: Solid ebony in first-rate special quality (Exclusive wood sets).
Neck: Honduran cedar with ebony reinforcement, exclusively with 64 years of natural drying (kept by Francisco Bros’ grandfather).
Fretboard: Ebony in first-rate special quality.
Headstock: East Indian rosewood (Palo Santo de India).
Purfling/Bindings: East Indian rosewood.
Nut wire: Nickel-silver (Alpacar).
Tuning machines: High-quality hardware.
Bridge: East Indian rosewood.
Bridge saddle: Hand-worked bone.
Strings: Professional Knobloch carbon strings with medium tension.
Origin certificate: Made in Spain

Nut-to-12th fret width (Width of the fretboard at the 12th fret): 62 mm
