This work belongs to the collection "Little Red Riding Hood." An abstract composition, between paths and the grandmother's house, dark areas, zones of intensity, like crossing a forest, in contrast with spaces of silence and the strength of an intense red.

I create my works in an abstract style, exploring line, brushstroke and blot. From a luminous and vital chromaticism. The brushstrokes marked by free and spontaneous gesture. Always taking care of the composition and balance of the work, as if it were a musical composition, with its rhythm, its sonority, its pauses and its nuances.

About the artist:
SUSU, Susana Soto is a creator of visual and plastic arts. Born in Barcelona in 1972. Holder of a Fine Arts degree from the Universitat de Barcelona in 1994. She participated in Vitra’s summer workshop at Boisbuche, France, in cooperation with the Vitra Design Museum and the Centre Georges Pompidou.
She has worked for more than 15 years as a graphic designer, art director, and as a teacher in art schools.
In 2015 she embarked on the path of illustration. Since then she has worked as an illustrator for publishers and the advertising sector. And in 2022 she began her artistic journey in Barcelona, in a shared studio with other artists. She works with abstract painting and the portrait of women.
Throughout her career she has received several awards and mentions, both in graphic design and illustration. And she has participated in group art exhibitions in Barcelona.
