AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Classic brass ship clock (cabin clock) – with Junghans Quartz movement.
A large brass ship clock (cabin clock) in beautiful aesthetic and perfect technical condition. This prestigious looking piece has a robust, heavy brass case, which with its shiny, preserved surface can be the central decoration of any room or office.

The special feature of the clock is that the glass front protecting the dial can be opened to the side with an ingenious, mechanical buckle mechanism, making it extremely easy to set the clock or remove it from the wall.

The dial is clean, perfectly legible, with large black Arabic numerals and precise minute divisions, and the patinated “Germany” inscription can be read at the bottom. Over time, the clock has been equipped with a modernized, premium quality Junghans Quartz W738 movement. This German-made movement is famous for its reliability and accuracy, and only 1 standard pencil battery (AA / LR6) is required for its operation.

Total diameter of the back (facing edge): approximately 18 cm
Diameter of the front clock head/frame: approximately 15.5 cm
Total depth (projection from the wall): approximately 7.5 - 8 cm
The back edge has factory-made holes, which allow the clock to be securely and stably mounted on a wall or wooden base. A perfect choice for nautical style lovers, collectors, or anyone looking for a valuable and flawlessly functioning design element for their home. With original glass and in beautiful vintage condition. Please see the pictures because they are part of the offer!
