Beautiful original artwork by the well-known artist Freek van den Berg. The work comes directly from the heirs of Freek van den Berg, and its authenticity is thus guaranteed.
Freek van den Berg (Amsterdam 1918 – Veessen 2000) belongs to the group of Fauves and was one of the last Dutch painters who worked in this expressive and colorful manner. His oeuvre includes a range of subjects, from cityscapes and landscapes but especially the recurring theme of the woman. He was a member of the 'Independents' and an art critic. Several books have been published about his oeuvre.
The work is in good condition.
