What is a "Panthagon"?
Born from my imagination, the Panthagon is the offspring of a cross between a panther and a spiny dragon. This explains why it has spines on its back. Juveniles are born with only 4-6 spines. As they grow, females keep their 4-6 spines while males develop additional spines along the back that extend to the tail. There are different forms of spines (straight, inclined, short, long, etc.) depending on the Panthagon subspecies.
Popularized thanks to Orlinski, Koons and many others, animal sculptures (balloon dog, lion, panther, crocodile...) are at the heart of pop art. I therefore offer you this representation of a Panthagon in resin, entirely painted with acrylic in white / black and in crackle version. Pop art / contemporary art style. Sculpture measuring 43 cm x 13 cm x 9 cm. Triple coat of glossy UV-protective varnish. Sculpture signed / hand-numbered on the underside. Delivered with its certificate of authenticity.
