Beautiful portrait on paper in mixed media. Chalk, ink, gouache and oil paint on paper. The young girl is the daughter of Charles Eyck, surrounded by flowers.
Charles Eyck (Meerssen, March 24, 1897 – Schimmert, August 2, 1983) was a Dutch painter, stained-glass artist, sculptor and graphic artist. He is regarded as one of the most important Limburg artists of the 20th century and was known for his colorful, expressive style and monumental works.

Dimensions of the work with frame: 73 × 56 cm
Signed and dated '1970' in the bottom right

Provenance: Kunsthandel Simoonis en Buunk, Ede, Netherlands
Viewings are of course possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary this year.
