Original lithograph by the painter Guillaume Corneille (1922-2010), born in Liège to Dutch parents and a founding member of the Cobra group with Karel Appel, Asger Jorn, Constant, Dotremont and later Alechinsky and Jacques Doucet
Signed and dated in graphite at the bottom by the painter

The quality of the lithographic plates is such that they give the impression of seeing the brushstroke in front of you.
Identified as an important figure in the renewal of abstraction in Northern Europe, Corneille progressively shifted from 1967 toward a rich and colorful New Figuration that aligns with the Pop Art taste of the 1960s and 1970s, and exhibited alongside Andy Warhol, Arman, César, etc.
