Born in 1966 in Da Nang, a coastal city steeped in rich visual and landscape culture, Ngoc Luan has developed a distinctive artistic style that transcends traditional figuration. His work, as seen in image.png, demonstrates remarkable mastery of material and light.
Rather than aiming to depict reality literally, the artist favors an emotional approach, where layered textures and contrasts of vibrant colors (combining deep blues, solar ochres, and energetic touches) create a complex visual narrative. His canvases often evoke movement and change, capturing the essence of inner landscapes with a spontaneity that characterizes artists of his generation in Vietnam.
