Description from the seller

A very rare bottle from 1944!!!

The Massandra sherry (also called Oreanda) is a fortified wine produced in Crimea by the famous historic Massandra estate. Inspired by the traditional Spanish method using the 'flor' yeast veil, this wine is distinguished by its rich aromatic bouquet, with notes of dried fruits and nuts.

Mainly blended from white grape varieties such as Sercial, Verdelho, and Aligoté.

Its color evolves toward a deep amber. The nose reveals notes of toasted bread, bitter almond, and rancio.

The bottle is still in its original plastic packaging (see photos)

The bottle is in excellent condition; it has been stored in an air-conditioned cellar since purchase.
