Il Monello was a weekly comic magazine, for children initially and for teenagers later, published from the 1930s to the 1990s by Editoriale Universo of the brothers Alceo, Cino and Domenico del Duca, who were interested in highlighting Italian authors. The magazine owes its name to the protagonist of Charlie Chaplin's film The Kid.
