John Lennon / Bag One
Is a series of fourteen original lithographs + 1 small in red (see scan)
signed in the print | comes with printed envelope.
What you see is what you get.
Each has been pulled on BFK Rives paper at The Bank Street Atelier, LTD., New York. The pull is limited to 300 examples, each print individually signed by John Lennon 1 to 300
During the break-up phase of the Beatles, Lennon and his second wife Yoko Ono organized several public events for world peace from the end of the 1960s onwards and turned their artistic attention to new areas.
On March 20, 1969 John Lennon and Yoko Ono married in Gibraltar.
On March 31, 1969 the couple finished their week-long "Bed-In" at the Apollobuurt in Amsterdam.
Lennon and Ono had been giving interviews from bed every day since March 26 at the Hilton Hotel to make a visible sign of peace.
"Bed-in" pictures are also included.
"BAG ONE" is John Lennon's wedding present to Yoko Ono.
Complete set incl. eroticism.
This is the smaller version (28x21 cm) of the original 1970 set.
Also printed in 1970 and signed in the print.
All prints are in Near Mint, unframed condition (as New).
Seller's Story
My name is Hans Kesteloo and I finally decided to sell my ‘remaining’ collection of 45’s, LP’s, CD’s, DVD’s, laserdiscs and other odd things after more than 60 years of ‘hardcore’ collecting. I purchased my first 45 in 1965, and this was the beginning of an enjoyable, long-time hobby – a real-time “collector’s career”. Now time has come to pass the baton !
