Excellent and representative original graphic work by Gerardo Rueda (Madrid, 1926 – 1996), one of the leading figures of abstract art in Spain, academic at the Fine Arts Academy and co-founder of the Museo de Arte Abstracto Español in Cuenca.
This serigraphy belongs to his last and most mature creative phase (1994). The piece displays the unmistakable plastic language of the artist, structured through the superposition of pure chromatic planes, bold geometric shapes, and a suggestive organic-inspired background that evokes his celebrated compositions and three-dimensional collages.
