Description from the seller
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
This artwork is from the series "Homage a´ Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was, alongside Andy Warhole and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art.
His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue
I have ever seen.
All objects have been meticulously handmade by me.
Parts of the handcrafting traces are visible, emphasizing the uniqueness of each object
Handsigned
Ultramarine blue pigments, produced in an elaborate mixture, absorb light.
The darker the room, the more intensely the blue shines because it absorbs the ambient light
Handsigned
Elephant is approximately 20/15/10 cm in ultramarine blue matte on a black base
My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Strasbourg, Lyon...
My Pop Art connects art and everyday life.
An essential feature of Pop Art is the often trivial objects from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising.
The motifs used are torn from their original context,
I alter them and thereby give them a new life as an "art object"
