Omas 72 fountain pen in solid 925 silver with a black resin grip, made in Italy by Omas in the second half of the 20th century, in near‑new condition and in working order, with its blue presentation case and inner box.
Description from the seller
Splendid Omas 72 fountain pen in solid sterling silver 925, housed in its elegant blue case, the matching presentation box is also included.
The finish features a refined workmanship with a finely engraved pattern (often described as "millerighe" or geometric texture), typical of high-end Italian production in the second half of the twentieth century.
The body and cap are entirely made of sterling silver (finest 925), which gives a balanced weight and a characteristic shine.
Nib carenated with OMAS 72 engraved.
The grip section is made of elegant black resin, creating a perfect visual contrast with the barrel worked in solid silver.
Omas (Officina Meccanica Armando Simoni) was one of the most prestigious Italian brands of writing instruments in the world.
The pen appears never to have been used, very light and gleaming as in the photos and given its age almost new; the boxes show light marks. The pen has no ink and no signs of it.
Packaging with extreme care
