Spider-Man #1 (August 1990): The famed "Silver Edition". McFarlane writes and draws a new Spider-Man title, breaking every sales record of the era. A comic that redefined the character's aesthetics with his "spaghetti" webs and extreme dynamic poses.

Spawn #1 (May 1992): The absolute debut of Spawn and the birth of Image Comics. After leaving Marvel, McFarlane creates his most famous anti-hero, marking the beginning of one of the longest-running and most successful independent comic series in comic book history.
