Description from the seller
This acrylic painting was created by Nol Reuser, who hails from Lith. He began his career with watercolors of Maas landscapes. After obtaining his teaching certificate in drawing, he broadened his artistic practice to other techniques and subjects.
A major turning point in his work arose after a thematic exhibition he dedicated to the sudden death of his brother. This led him to be inspired by the world of children’s drawings, in which influences are visible from, among others, Picasso and the Cobra group. In 2017, from more than a thousand submissions, a work by Nol Reuser was chosen by a public jury as Painting of the Year 2017.
Dimensions: 80 x 60 cm
Dimensions with frame: 84 x 64 cm
Viewing is, of course, possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framing workshop, celebrating its 85th anniversary. Furthermore, we collaborate with restorers from the professional association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
