With this vertically oriented work, Medsan transposes Psyduck, the duck Pokémon with the eternal migraine, into Edvard Munch's The Scream. Hands pressed to the temples, beak wide open, the yellow creature occupies the landing strip of the famous painting, under a sky ablaze with reds and oranges, while two silhouettes move away in the background and the fjord undulates in spirals of anxiety. This single splash reinterprets the 1893 expressionist masterwork.

The visual power of the composition lies in its oil-painting technique faithful to Munch: nervous impasto, sky streaked with bloodlike bands, vertiginous perspective of the landing, and swirling lines of the landscape.
