Montblanc Great Character Limited Edition Jimi Hendrix Rollerball Pen 1942. Serial No. 1501/1942. Pen created in 2022 in homage to one of the greatest guitarists in history, Jimi Hendrix. The body of this edition limited to 1,942 pieces is coated with a shade in precious lacquer, crowned by a skeletonized work. This design is inspired by the cover of the Electric Ladyland album released in 1968, a musical masterpiece by Hendrix. The cap, made of metal with a special TPE coating, evokes the material of a guitar amplifier. It is adorned with a lacquered badge, adding a distinctive touch. The yellow-gold clip is angled, recalling the vibrato of an electric guitar, an emblematic element of Hendrix’s unique performances. The gold-tone ring on the body, inscribed with the date of a famous concert, evokes the guitar cables of the 1960s. The Montblanc emblem in precious resin on the top of the cap completes this refined design. General condition, frankly excellent, NEW and NEVER used.
