An extraordinary and iconic work by Mario Schifano (1934–1998), one of the absolute pioneers of European Pop Art and of the Piazza del Popolo School. This work, within an elegant white frame, belongs to his famous and highly sought-after series of "Tele/Foto Computerizzate" — photographs hand-retouched taken from television screens. Schifano isolates a transient mediatic image, transforming an ephemeral television transmission into a lyrical and permanent artistic statement through dynamic and energetic strokes of colored enamel.
