Omas Lucens fountain pen in transparent amber celluloid with a black spiral, made for Corrado Accostano in Rome (1936), featuring a 14k gold extra-fine nib and a floating piston filling system in excellent working order, 13 cm long when closed.

1936ca OMAS LUCENS transparent spiral with Greek Key made for Corrado Accostano in Rome-EF flex nib-the rarest!!
Offering a fantastic Omas Lucens (the round model) from 1936, with transparent amber celluloid base and black spiral.
This model is very rare not only because is a Lucens but also because the rare configuration of the cap with a Greek Key which is quite uncommon (normally there are 3 rings). Moreover has been made for Corrado Accostano in Rome who was the oldest pen stationery in Rome.
We are in presence of the history of Italian fountain pens: in fact, with this model the Omas brand become famous worldwide due to the technical and aesthetical features.
the pen carries the new filling system patented in 1936 by Omas which works on air depression and allow to fill the completely barrel giving a long writing autonomy.
aesthetically the pen is very elegant and balanced due to the lightness of the celluloid and to the fact that there’s no metal parts in the barrel.
furthermore, the transparency of the barrel gives the exact status of the ink level.
this one has almost 90 years old with all the Charme she has.
moreover, the flexibility of vintage Omas nib is unbeatable.
