Graphic work based on a subject by René Magritte, part of the series “Les Enfants Trouvés,” produced in color lithography.

The series features subjects drawn from Magritte's iconographic universe and was prepared by the printer Fernand Mourlot in Paris. The plates were completed in 1967, the year of the artist's death; for this reason the works could not be signed directly by Magritte.

The edition was completed the following year, in 1968, with the consent of the artist's heirs, in particular his wife Georgette Magritte. The copies were then released onto the market with the printer Fernand Mourlot's signature/reference."

La serie comprende soggetti tratti dall’universo iconografico di Magritte e venne predisposta dallo stampatore Fernand Mourlot a Parigi. Le lastre furono ultimate nel 1967, anno della morte dell’artista; per questo motivo le opere non poterono essere firmate direttamente da Magritte.

La tiratura venne completata l’anno successivo, nel 1968, con il consenso degli eredi dell’artista, in particolare della moglie Georgette Magritte. Gli esemplari furono poi immessi sul mercato con firma/riferimento dello stampatore Fernand Mourlot.
