The body and cap of this writing instrument are expertly crafted in the classic deep black precious resin, whose mirror finish creates a magnificent contrast with the bright platinum-plated finishes on the distinctive aerodynamic clip and the heavy structural bands. The true distinctive feature of this specific configuration is the grip section: made of solid metal, it features a sophisticated micro-groove diamond-cut pattern. This detail not only ensures an extremely secure and comfortable grip during long writing sessions, but gives the pen a unmistakably bold modern character. To crown the silhouette, the famous transparent dome atop the cap houses the floating white star emblem.

The piece is configured for liquid ink writing (Rollerball or Fineliner). The cap, equipped with a secure screw closure to protect the nib, can be conveniently screwed onto the tail-end of the barrel during use, guaranteeing perfect weight balance in the hand. As documented by the photographs showing the pen disassembled, replacing the refill (currently fitted with an original Montblanc Rollerball) is simple and intuitive, unscrewing the grip block from the resin body.

The item's condition is to be considered generally excellent. The precious resin maintains a splendid shine and is structurally perfect, completely free of cracks, chips, or obvious defects; only very light and physiological micro-scratches (hairlines) from normal careful use are present. The platinum finishes are intact and glossy, as is the particular diamond-cut grip work, which shows no wear. The upper transparent dome is crystal-clear and the floating star is intact.
