Ice Cold Drinks — Night Stop on Route 66 is a limited edition 60 x 40 cm Giclée on canvas by LeYack, signed by the artist, produced in France in 2020 or later, depicting a portrait in a Renaissance style.
Description from the seller
Somewhere on a forgotten road in America, a service station shines in the night like a beacon in the middle of a void. Under the incandescent red neon, three young people — a boy at the wheel of a powder blue Ford Thunderbird, a girl sitting on a gas pump, another walking toward the storefront where the words Ice Cold Drinks flash. Nothing is said, and yet everything is there: the tension of waiting, the promise of a kiss, the dizziness of being eighteen in a summer night that will never end. The sky is black, the stars tiny, the artificial light floods the scene with a beauty that is almost unreal. A painting that revives the absolute mythology of American youth, somewhere between American Graffiti and Raymond Carver’s short stories. A major work, of cinema-level power rarely seen.
