Apple, Apple II-Commodore PET 2001-TRS-80 Model I – Complete Technical Drawing, 1977, in like-new condition and in working order, 70 x 50 cm, unframed.
Description from the seller
Description of the work
This technical board, executed in a graphic style reminiscent of 1970s industrial blueprints, illustrates the three personal computers that marked the start of the mass information revolution: the Apple II, the Commodore PET 2001, and the TRS-80 Model I.
Size 70x50 cm, unframed.
The work is organized like an archival document from the Design Office, dated June 1977. Through isometric drawings, exploded views of the motherboards, and dimensional schematics, the piece examines the anatomy of these historic machines. Iconic details include the PET’s integrated cassette drive, the TRS-80’s separate keyboard design, and the Apple II’s modular structure.
The finishing touch is provided by the cartouche at the bottom, which bears fictitious signatures (such as "R. Wayne" in homage to the third co-founder of Apple) and the approval stamps "CONFIDENTIAL", lending the work an aura of historical authenticity and retro-tech charm.
The lot will be shipped with insured international express courier.
