This variant, now out of production and highly sought after by collectors, stands out for the extraordinary decoration that wraps the entire body and cap. The traditional glossy black resin is here replaced by a solid lacquered structure, on which an intricate laser engraving with platinum finish has been applied. The geometric and asymmetric motif, reminiscent of digital data flows or the architecture of microchips, gives the instrument a deeply hi-tech look and an exceptional tactile feel.

The contrast between the deep black of the lacquer and the brightness of the platinum in the engravings and metallic finishes (clip and rings) is masterfully achieved. To crown it all, the iconic transparent dome at the summit cannot be missing, where the white Montblanc star emblem floats, the unmistakable signature of the StarWalker line. Functionality is ensured by a fluid twist mechanism and, as shown by photos of the instrument disassembled, the imposing brass threading is present, a symbol of absolute robustness and authenticity. The pen takes its original Montblanc refill.

The condition is to be considered generally excellent. The lacquer and the complex laser-engraved motif are intact and perfectly legible, with no color loss or structural dings; only normal, physiological micro-scratches (hairlines) due to normal handling are noticeable. The platinum plating is bright and free of oxidation. The serial code is regularly engraved on the clip ring.
