Montblanc - Meisterstück LeGrand (Platinum Line) - Pen

In this presentation we showcase the writing instrument with the most generous and authoritative proportions from Hamburg’s manufacture, rendered in a modern aesthetic and with a glacé (cool) charm: the Montblanc Meisterstück LeGrand Ballpoint Pen (Model 161) with Platinum Line finishes.

Compared to the standard Classique model, the LeGrand stands out with a barrel diameter and weight decidedly larger. This amplified “stature” offers a sense of extraordinary solidity, guaranteeing an exceptionally comfortable grip and an unparalleled stage presence in the breast pocket of a jacket. The cigar-shaped body is forged in glossy black precious resin, enhanced by the very bright platinum-plated finishes on the three massive rings, on the clip, and on the imposing nib-end. The cap crown bears the unmistakable emblem of the white star.

The mechanical action relies on the classic, smooth twist mechanism. The excellent photographs of the pen disassembled reveal the robust brass internal screw (thread), a construction detail specific to the LeGrand line that certifies its absolute quality and originality. Inside there is the original Montblanc refill.

The overall condition is rated as excellent in both structural and aesthetic terms. The black resin maintains a mirror finish and is free from chips or cracks; only the physiological and almost imperceptible micro-scratches (hairlines) scattered along the body are noticeable. In the interest of the usual rigorous transparency, it is essential to note the presence of a professionally executed personalized inscription on the side of the cap bearing the initials "G G" in an elegant golden cursive font (clearly visible in the provided photographs).
