In this auction we present the most recent, fascinating and luxurious evolution of the modern line par excellence of Hamburg craftsmanship, a piece that unites Montblanc's classic rigor with a deep homage to space exploration: the Montblanc StarWalker Doué Ballpoint Pen (New Generation with Blue Dome).

The StarWalker collection has always been synonymous with innovation, but this specific (and very current) generation introduced an aesthetic and poetic detail that has enamored collectors. Observing the famous dome atop, one immediately notices the difference: under the emblem of the floating star there is a translucent blue hemisphere. This design was specially engineered by Montblanc to evoke the emotion of astronauts admiring the Earth rising above the lunar horizon, suspended in the vastness of space.

This particular Doué variant stands out for a wonderful and luxurious material contrast: the barrel is forged in the classic deep black precious resin, while the entire upper portion and the substantial nib are made of solid metal plated in bright platinum. This combination not only gives the instrument an extraordinary sheen but also guarantees a weight and balance during writing that are decidedly superior to the base versions.

The specimen is configured as a Ballpoint Pen, operated by a smooth and extremely precise continuous-rotation mechanism (twist).
