Ernest García's painting Bote en el estanque XL is an original 2026 acrylic work in multicolour, 100 x 70 cm, hand-signed, from Spain, in a Fauvist style, depicting a spring pond scene with a boat, offered directly by the artist with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
BOAT IN THE POND is a 70x100 cm painting by the contemporary artist Ernest García. This work transforms an aquatic landscape into a dreamlike scene where the simplicity of forms and the intensity of color build a universe full of serenity. A small boat rests motionless on a pond covered with water lilies, while several goldfish swim around it and a delicate white flower emerges on the surface of the water. The scene exudes a sense of absolute stillness, as if time had decided to stop.
The composition centers around the vessel, turned into the visual axis of the work. Its curved silhouette contrasts with the organic shapes of the floating leaves and the surrounding vegetation. The fish introduce movement and rhythm, guiding the eye through the water and providing a delicate counterpoint to the calm of the landscape. Each element seems to occupy its place naturally, creating a balance between geometry and nature.
The color palette combines emerald greens, turquoises and soft purples with the intense yellow of the water lilies and the vibrant orange of the fish. These contrasts generate a luminous and cheerful atmosphere, where color plays a leading role beyond realistic representation. The brushwork is clean and the defined lines recall the expressive freedom of Fauvism, granting the scene a sense of freedom.
