Description from the seller
Acrylic sculpture made by young upcoming Belgian artist Julie Vandaele (artist name: Jæ). Jæ was Born in 2006 and lives in Belgium. This work is a unique piece, no copies or prints were made (1/1). Her goal is to move people through her art. She chooses certain colours to evoke precise emotions. She used specific blues and blacks because of the way we as humans perceive them and the memories as much as the emotions we link to them. The work is everything but random. This work is in excellent condition.
She uses a special technique that makes her work unique.
The materials used in this particular work:
- acrylic paint and acrylic gels
- natural materials such as very small gravel stones
- linnen canvas
The work measures 120 cm (height) x 100cm (width) x 8 cm (depth)
It was signed by the artist in the back with black ink when I bought the piece from her.
For shipment, the work will be shipped as a whole wrapped in bubble wrap and it will be shipped in a wooden box to prevent damage.
